Frequently Asked Questions

When making a cheese platter, how much cheese do I offer my guests?
Offer about two ounces of each cheese type per guest.

Can I use citrus fruits to garnish my cheese platter?
The acid in citrus does not pair well with cheese. For a tart fruit flavor, try apricots or cranberries. Don't forget the nuts and crusty breads!

I stored my cheese in my refrigerator's cheese bin. Why is it molding?
Chances are you stored your blue-veined cheeses near other varieties. Blue cheeses have live mold spores that may spoil other foods. Wrap tightly in parchment paper and store separately to avoid contamination.

Can cheese be frozen?
We recommend that cheese be kept cool, 35° F to 40° F, but not frozen. Freezing will change the texture and taste of the cheese.
